FYIThe following are excellent resources for western Douglas County news and obits: The Bennington Herald ( Jan 3, 1908 - Feb 8,1924 ) on Microfilm The Waterloo Gazette ( Mar 8, 1895 - Sept 21, 1934 ) on Microfilm The Douglas County Gazette ( Sep 28, 1934 - December 29, 1998 ) on Microfilm Each of these can be found at the Nebraska State Historical Society Note: I have been able to find several obits and marriage announcements in these publications. Along with some great old time small town news.
