Mrs. Henry Nieman spent Saturday and Sunday with friends in Papillion. 

Mrs. John Appel was a guest of Mrs. John Fedde Thursday afternoon.

V.E. Chamberlin and Mrs. W.E. Goodhard were Omaha visitors Tuesday. 

Theodore Denker spent last week at the Charles Goodhard home in Fremont. 

Mr. and Mrs. Burt Fallon spent Monday evening at the Wm. Schuldt home. 

Mr. and Mrs. John C. Bull spent Sunday evening at the Hans Rohwer home. 

Mr. and Mrs. John Schuldt and Miss Lorraine spent Thursday afternoon in Omaha. 

Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Quinn and Mrs. Henry Denker Jr. spent Monday in Omaha. 

Charles Goodhard and William Malnerny of Fremont were Elkhorn visitors Sunday. 

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schuldt and Mrs. Max Fallon motored to Omaha Monday evening. 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Paasch were guests at the August Paasch home Sunday evening. 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe McArdle were guests at the Burt Fallon home on Tuesday evening. 

Mr. and Mrs. William Grewcock spent Monday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Art Plambeck. 

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Marshall spent Sunday evening at the George Marshall home in Omaha. 

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hall of Ithaca were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Suess Sunday afternoon. 

Gus Kaestner who is in the Lord Lister hospital for treatment is said to be getting along nicely. 

Mrs. Max Fallon of Bancroft called on Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fallon and Pat Fallon Tuesday afternoon. 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Denker Jr. and Misses Marie Denker and Mildred Lehr spent Saturday in Omaha. 

Mrs. Jack Boggan left Friday for St. Louis, to return home with her little daughter, Jeanne, who has been in school there, and who will spend the Christmas holidays at home. While in St. Louis Mrs. Boggan attended the Old English Episcopal Children’s Candle service at the Episcopal Church. Mrs. Boggan also attended installation of the Home Chapter, O.E.S. while in St. Louis.

The Fraternal Aid Union will meet at the home of Mrs. John Fedde on Thursday afternoon, December 29. 

Mr. and Mrs. John Diestel were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Tallon at Millard Friday evening. 

Mrs. Max Fallon of Rosalie, Nebr., spent several days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schuldt. 

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hansen of Waterloo spent Wednesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. William Schuldt Sr. 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe McArdle and John Andresen Sr. called at the William Schuldt Sr. home Monday afternoon. 

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Schuldt and Mr. and Mrs. John Schuldt visited with Mr. and Mrs. William Schuldt Sr. Monday. 

Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Goodhard, Alferd Goodhard and Miss Emma Paasch were dinner guests at the H.N. Witt home Sunday. 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Paasch and daughter and Miss Emma Paasch spent Thursday evening at the Fred Villwok home. 

Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Ohrt of Bennington and Mr. and Mrs. John Schuldt spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schuldt Sr. 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Quinn and son and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Winterburn were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Paasch Saturday evening. 

The condition of Mrs. William Schuldt, who was painfully injured ten days ago, when she fell down the basement stairs, is much improved. 

Mrs. Arthur Deerson, Miss Cleo and Wallace, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schneider spent Sunday in Omaha with Mr. and Mrs. F.O. Huse. 

Mrs. Lawrence Coates and Miss Eunice Richardson of Waterloo visited with Mrs. H.N. Witt Monday evening. 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kunneman and daughter, Marilyn and Mrs. Louise Otte spent Saturday afternoon at the John Siert and Henry Otte homes near Millard. 

There will be numerous parties during the holidays and we would appreciate it if you will tell us about any you may have or attend. Items like this make a good paper. 

Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Ohrt, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Ohrt and Vernelle, and Mrs. Emma Claussen and son Frederick and Herman Claussen spent Sunday evening at the John Schuldt home. 

Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Goodhard and sons, V.E. Chamberlin and Mrs Lucille Malstead visited Sunday in Omaha with Ed and Miss Mary Callely and Mr. and Mrs. Ovid Chamberlin. 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Denker and son of Papillion, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Denker and son of Council Bluffs and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Denker were guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Denker Sunday. 

The Elkhorn lodge R.N.A. will have a card party and grab bag Wednesday evening, December 28th, at Castle Hall for R.N.A. members and husbands. Each person attending is requested to bring twenty-five cents worth of groceries for the grab bag. 

Mrs. J.P. McLean entertained the Larkin club Wednesday afternoon of last week. After the business meeting, bunco was played and prizes were won bu Mrs. Otto Hansen, Mrs. Fred Rolfs and Mrs. John Appel. A delicious lunch was served by Mrs. McLean. 

Nick Barelos, Elkhorn high school boy, was in a very critical condition at an Omaha hospital Wednesday, suffering from an infection which resulted from an injury received while breaking coal. Little hopes were entertained for his recovery, it was reported. 

The Ladies Aid society met at the home Mrs. Henry Koch Sr. Wednesday afternoon, when assisting hostesses were Mrs. Chris Bull and Mrs. Louis Rolfe. Election of officers took place and resulted as follows; Mrs. F.W. Seesko, president; Mrs. Roy Glandt, vice president; Mrs. John Bull, secretary and Mrs. Elmer Suess, treasurer.
