Mrs. Mary Frahm and Mrs. Wright spent last Thursday with Mrs. Louise Otte.  

Mrs. Marie Frahm was a dinner guest of Mrs Anna Greggersen Wednesday.  

Mrs. L. J. Chavet of Waterloo was visiting with Mrs. G. H. Goodhard.  

Mr and Mrs Fred Vitt of Omaha were visitors at the Henry Bay home Sunday.  

Miss Velda Hollister spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Miss Loretta Claussen.  

Mrs. Marie Deerson and family moved into the Earl Fedde residence last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Suess were dinner guests of Mr and Mrs Henry Peters Sunday.  

Jacob Rohwer spent a couple of days last week in Millard, with Eggert Holling.

Mr. and Mrs. William Labs are the parents of a baby boy, born Wednesday June 22.  

Mr and Mrs. George Malek and family of Osceola spent Sunday and Monday with Mr and Mrs. John Malek. 

Mr and Mrs. Emil Dake and children of South Dakota are spending a week with their mother, Mrs. William Sharpe.

Mr and Mrs. Leonard Schneider and daughter Ruth Ann, spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs. Laurence Schneider. 

Charlie and Emmett Wagner and daughters of Wolbach, Nebr., visited Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Meta Peetz.

Mrs. Christine Eggers of Kansas and Mrs. Max Siert of Millard spent Thursday with Mrs. Louise Otte and Mrs. Amanda Koerner.

Mr and Mrs. Charles Delfs and Mr and Mrs.Arthur Mowinkel and son of near Chalco spent Saturday evening at the John Bull home.

The Ladies Aid society met at the home Mrs. Henry Bull Sr., Wednesday afternoon. Assisting  hostesses were Mrs. C B. Bull and H.C. Bull. 

Mr and Mrs. Marvin Plambeck, Mr and Mrs.Elmer Mowinkel and Marilyn Frances and Ervin Labs spent Saturday evening at the H. A. Homann home. 

Mr and Mrs. John Seltz, Mr and Mrs. Nick Witt and Mrs. Emil Meyer were among the Elkhorn folks who attended the funeral of Mrs. Emil Lamp at Bennington Thursday of last week. 

Mr and Mrs. Henry Denker entertained at their home Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. Denker’s birthday. The evening was spent dancing music was furnished by an orchestra from South Omaha.

Mr and Mrs. Henry Bull Sr., Mr and Mrs. Chris Bull and Mrs. Marie Frahm attended the 35th wedding anniversary of Mr. And Mrs. John Bull, near Millard Thursday. 

Mr and Mrs. Jack McClenegarl and son, Sam, of Sidney, are spending a vacation with Mr and Mrs. D. D. McLean. Tuesday they were guest of Mr and Mrs. J. B. Rogers.

Mr and Mrs. Walter Winterburn and Mr and Mrs. Wm. H Winterburn  attended the fortieth wedding anniversary celebration of Mr and Mrs. Fred Gottsch at Bennington Saturday evening. 

Dr. and Mrs. L. H. Brown entertained at bridge at their home Saturday evening for Mr and Mrs. Fred Winterburn, Mr and Mrs. Ed Saeger, Mr and Mrs. Jack Boggan and Mr and Mrs. Harold Miller. 

Mrs. Meta Peetz attended a picnic at Riverview park given by Mrs. Steve Wheeler of Millard in honor of the birthday of her daughter Rita Ann.  

Miss Lucy England gave a musical at her studio in Omaha Saturday afternoon, and among her pupils taking part were Arlene and Evelyn Kunnemann, Elleen and Harlan Plambeck, and Donald Rolfs. 

Mr. And Mrs. Bennie Riecken entertained Sunday in honor of Mr. Riecken’s birthday and Miss Grace Ohm’s birthday. Guests were Mr and Mrs. Otto Benke and son, Mr and Mrs. John Grebe and daughters, Mr and Mrs. Max Harder and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Herman Coates and daughter, Henry Kroeger and sons,
