at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Boettger, at Irvington. The Elkhorn Junior baseball team went to Millard Sunday and returned with a 12 to 6 victory. Mrs. L.H. Brown and Mrs. Ed Saeger motored to Omaha Saturday and called on Mrs. H.N. Witt. Betty Moor is spending her vacation with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dorate at Falls City. Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Otte and sons Russell and Lowell picnicked at the Cowles lakes on the Fourth. The Elkhorn town board held a regular meeting Tuesday evening and transacted routine business. Mr. and Mrs. George Hamman and children were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hamann on the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Schroeder and family of Millard spent Monday afternoon at the Albert Schroeder home. Mrs. Jack Boggan and daughter, Jeanne, and Frances Goudy, spent Thursday morning swimming at Happy Hollow and had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Glandt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Glandt and Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Glandt and son attended a picnic at the John Schobert home at Papillion Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Browniee and son, Harlan spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. John Denker Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Otte Benke and son and Mr. and Mrs. Max Harder and Irma spent July 4th at Fort Calhoun. Miss Frieda Fredericks left Wednesday for a visit with friends in Northern Nebraska and South Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goodhard and son and Marilou Witt spent the 4th with Mr. and Mrs. Emil Bartels and son. Dr. L.H. Brown, Henry Holling and Kermit Holmes attended the races at Ak-Sar-Ben field Monday afternoon.
