Their first land purchase in the U.S.

Ferdinand bought 80 acres just south of the city limits of Bennington, NE from

John S. Edward & Wife in 9/15/1882, as well as, 30 acres from Byron & Lewis S Reed. In 9/12/1884 he bought an additional 40 acres from John H Levy. 

This land was passed down to his son's 

Albert and Ferdinand Jr.

Albert sold his portion on 2/13/1930 and Ferdinand Jr. sold his on 3/27/1935.

Fritz bought 80 acres of land on  7/31/1885 at what is now 180th and Dodge from Lew. W. Hill.

In 6/21/1900 he bought additional

land from Oscar Peterson.

After retiring from farming he built a home near Elkorn, NE.  He grew several fruit trees near this home.

Through his estate his farmland was passed on to his daughter Anna and his home passed on to his daughter Bertha.
